Electronic Mad Lib

Mad Libs are our greatest joy, a Sunday evening tradition, and we've done them for the last three years now as our Christmas letter, but we get so few back. In an effort to boost our return rate, we've made an electronic version.

If you don't already have it, you will need the most recent version of the Flash Player, which you can download for free at the Adobe Website

We'd love for you to 1) click here and fill out the electronic mad lib 2) copy the resulting text and 3) paste the text as a response to this blog post.

Here's our cut at our own mad-lib. I'm going to try an html experiment, see if you can bold your comments:

Sam has pooped a small army of waterfalls. He is mid-way through 95th grade with a ugly teacher, Mrs. Steele. He continues to eat us with custom pickle creations. Sam’s sprinkle fascination became a focus at arbor day with his very own bumble bee costume. Many galoshes had to die, but it got an initial diary. Sam tried his butt crack at Rock Band and has decided that building is his “thing.” We love having Sam in our Artimus Fowl; we can always count on him to poop or punch something funny!

Rachel had a fluffy year! She got to visit the dungeon in Salt Lake with her class and went back a few months later to collect a 16th place prize in a state wide block sack game. She continues to excel at the recorder and has acquired her own “axe” this year, nick-named “Edward.” Her jug is “Bella” and the washboard is “Jacob”; can you tell what spoons she’s been heating? If not, consider yourselves farted and move on. She also continues to smack her magic on wii; we commissioned a nob from her this year for our the bowles of the toilet that won her a google place at her school’s Reflections competition.

Jen has had a series of scruffy-looking medical ailments; she started off with a/an colon hemorrhage and is now dealing with DVD player in her legs. Although Jen continues to work through her string bass and woolen sock issues she will be the first to tell you that she’s “still clogged”. The photos don’t quite slurp the essence of Jen in motion smurfing out Pearl Jam pebbles and bam bam, but she both has fun and is fun to watch—a true string bass of the 80s. In addition to being a fearless door hinge, Jen is enjoying salmon sausage, volunteering, book club, and pole vaulting. Jen is also now buffering an Independent Study course for BYU on Soils.

Andy tried his hand at witchdoctoring after letting a scripture sac grow a bit too hairless. He also tried his hand at backpacking our hitchhiker; apparently tree roots do not make them darling. Although his medical doghouse is much less interesting he did take a shave at pregnant and didn’t much care for them at all. In fact he’s flushing enough water to satisfy most bobcats to avoid repeating the experience. He continues to work happily on both his teaching and Sam's Club, managing to win a departmental plum of the year award as voted on by students.

Sam has braided a small army of knuckles. He is mid-way through 9.43 grade with a sweaty teacher, Mrs. Steele. He continues to crabwalk us with custom tooth creations. Sam’s world wide web fascination became a focus at qwanza with his very own cindy lou who costume. Many fig newtons had to die, but it got an initial scuba gear. Sam tried his ear lobe at Rock Band and has decided that chewing is his “thing.” We love having Sam in our comb-over; we can always count on him to peel or stumble something funny!

Rachel had a tangy year! She got to visit the outhouse in Salt Lake with her class and went back a few months later to collect a 42 place prize in a state wide booger game. She continues to excel at the the triangle and has acquired her own “axe” this year, nick-named “Edward.” Her "Cat Fancy" magazine is “Bella” and the novelty teeth is “Jacob”; can you tell what decorative soap she’s been drooling? If not, consider yourselves trick-or-treating and move on. She also continues to milking her magic on fingernail; we commissioned a marachino cherry from her this year for our purgatory that won her forteleven place at her school’s Reflections competition.

Jen has had a series of moldy medical ailments; she started off with a/an gall bladder hemorrhage and is now dealing with smorgasbord in her legs. Although Jen continues to work through her prison cell and nosehair issues she will be the first to tell you that she’s “still bodacious”. The photos don’t quite argue the essence of Jen in motion scrapbooking out Pearl Jam muffins, but she both has fun and is fun to watch—a true curb appeal of the 80s. In addition to being a fearless 3 car garage, Jen is enjoying mirror ball, volunteering, book club, and thumb wrestling. Jen is also now roasting an Independent Study course for BYU on underwater basketweaving.

Andy tried his hand at dentistry after letting a frying pan grow a bit too bubbly. He also tried his hand at sky diving our peanut butter; apparently tree roots do not make them freshly shaved. Although his medical car wash is much less interesting he did take a demolish at irritable bowel syndrome and didn’t much care for them at all. In fact he’s streaking enough water to satisfy most snowmen to avoid repeating the experience. He continues to work painfully on both his teaching and bad breath, managing to win a departmental necktie of the year award as voted on by students.
